Can I get an instant car valuation?
The website currently captures vehicle enquiries. Live valuations have not yet been activated, so you will not be shown an invented figure. We will explain when approved valuation data and purchasing services become available.
Do I have to accept an offer?
No. Submitting an enquiry does not commit you to selling. If a real purchase offer becomes available, you can review its terms before deciding.
Can I sell a damaged or non-running car?
You can enquire about damaged, non-running or high-mileage vehicles. Whether a specialist buyer can help depends on the vehicle and location.
How is my car valued?
A future valuation may consider vehicle identification, mileage, condition, service history and appropriately licensed market data. An indicative figure would not be a guaranteed purchase price.
Will the final offer change?
A buyer may revise an offer if the vehicle differs materially from the information supplied, subject to the agreed offer terms. Any changes should be explained before you accept a transaction.
Can I sell a car with outstanding finance?
You should declare any outstanding finance. Any future transaction will require appropriate settlement checks and agreed handling of the finance balance.
Who collects the car?
Collection arrangements will depend on the approved buyer and vehicle. The collection address, timing and any charges must be confirmed before proceeding.
When will I be paid?
Payment method and timing will be confirmed with the actual purchasing business before a sale. Do not hand over keys or your vehicle until the agreed payment checks are completed.
Is PriceYourMotor a dealer?
PriceYourMotor is being developed as a vehicle-selling platform designed to connect sellers and approved buyers. It is not currently operating a live instant-buying or dealer-bidding service.
Where is the service available?
The initial website is for UK-based vehicle enquiries. Other countries are not currently supported.
